1st Meeting
In the first meeting, you will meet with us and determine the style and location of the home you desire. If needed, we are more than happy to assist you with selection of blueprints. We will also discuss the selection of materials to be used in the building process, depending on your budget.
2nd Meeting
In the second meeting, we will go over blueprints and make any changes necessary to customize the house to meet your needs. We will also discuss product selections and available options.
3rd Meeting
In the third meeting, if all questions have been answered and both parties are comfortable to proceed, both parties will sign off on the building contract and ensure the funds are secured.
4th Meeting
A fourth meeting will be scheduled if needed, to finalize details and sign contracts. If any additional meetings are required, they will be scheduled at this time.
Start the Construction Process
After selections are finalized, the contract is signed and funds are secured, excavating will begin in approximately two weeks.
Once the first floor decking is completed and walls are laid out, we will schedule a walk through, to determine if any changes should be made before the walls are built. The same procedure will be used if the house plan contains a second floor. There will be an additional walk through with clients after the framing is completed; to be sure the rooms meet your expectations. The customer will then do a walk through with the electrician to determine the placement of plugs and switches. At this point, the hard part is done and you can watch your dreams become a reality.
A standard home can take from five to six months from excavation to finish. A final walk through will be done with the builders prior to closing. We offer a one year warranty on the home and will always be available after the one year to answer any questions and assist you with any concerns.
